Crazy Hair Day

If you forgot about crazy hair day...don't worry, so did I! 

So I got to fix some crazy hair this morning! It was great since God gave me all boys and I never get to fix a little girl's hair! :)

Looking at the snowflakes from the window just wasn't cutting it!  My lesson was NOT able to compete with the beautiful snow either. :)

Each student was given a card with a word on it.  They had to walk around the room and find their partner that had a card with a word that they could put together to make a compound word. The kids enjoyed this post activity to our lesson.

100th Day of School

 

What a great day it was!  The students faces were priceless as they walked in the classroom this morning and had no clue who I was.  Everyone looked wonderful dressed as 100 year olds. :)

Base Ten Spin Game

After our math lesson today, we played a math "game" that helped them learn about trading ones for tens. 

The kids REALLY liked this interactive game where they were able to work with a partner and use manipulatives to practice their math skills. 

Everyone worked together nicely as well!  :) 

They are becoming math masters!
